My brain hurts with all of the technical setup. I came from that world and now realize that I don’t want it to be that difficult. Which is why I’ve moved from Mailchimp, Activecampaign, Madmimi, Aweber, GetResponse to ConvertKit.
I’m going back to basics and let the experts do the hard work, while making things easy, pretty, and effective. I think ConvertKit is gaining traction in the email marketing and marketing automation circles.
This tool also takes the place of opt-in landing pages. If you are a blogger and content producer on your own site, then you don’t need a complex opt-in page. A simple opt-in box within the main content page will suffice. Think about it; that’s how Copyblogger got their start. And look at where they are now!
I’ve built a simple sales funnel with ConvertKit and now can focus on my audience and serving them with info that will enhance their lives.
