Facebook 20 Percent Rule
Ever want to pull your hair out from Facebook’s constant 20% text rule? Here’s a great resource on wrangling this issue and getting your ad images approved on the first shot.
Go to http://20percentrule.info/ and upload your image. It will display your image with grids. Simply click on the grid areas on where you text are and it will calculate the amount of text on the image. It’s a crude way to calculate the 20% rule, but it works.
In photoshop, I find that I will have to move my text around to suit the grid areas outlined on 20percentrule.info, especially when the total amount of text is cutting it close to the 20%. And the best way to do this is by adding grid lines your photoshop document.
